The Wholesome Dog Seminar Series |
|
We are currently working on a plan to host a number of seminars, likely in February and March 2008. The focus will be on a number of subject matters including nutrition, homeopathic/holistic approaches to health care, Bach Flower Remedies, T-Touch, Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy, green products including biodegradable poop bags, composting pet waste, hand-crafted products, possibly green gardening to protect your pets, etc. We are contacting a number of professionals in their respective fields to invite them to speak. We are also interested in having a number of vendors who have products related to these subjects.
These would be one-day seminars, with lunch. We want to keep the registration costs reasonable so that more folks can attend and learn more about caring for their dogs (pets) and be in a position to make informed choices. All profits would go to a variety of charities. We hope to have speakers donate their time and identify a charity they wish a portion of the profits to be sent to.
The seminar series is still in the very early stages of planning and so we do not have set prices for vendor tables or ticket prices yet. However, if anyone is interested either in a vendor table or presenting on a subject, please contact me at nccpd@sympatico.
We hope to attract 200 - 250 people per seminar. The idea is to keep the cost down for all participants so that as many as possible can benefit from the information shared.

This series of seminars sounds great! The Barking Biscuit is definitely interested in booth information.
