About Pugs |
|
Hi There; This is perhaps not the place to post this question but I did not know where else to ask this. I have family that would like to get a dog. They have their hearts set on a Pug. I don't know anything really about the breed. I could go online and get the stats but I was wonderin if anyone had any first hand info about them. Temperament, any health problems with the breed etc. Any advice or comments would be most welcome!
Thanks Tammy

Pugs |
|
Hi Tammy,
I'm certainly not an expert, but we do have 2 pugs in our family....our "grand-pugs". They are both 11 years old now, and have been great family pets. We have dog sat both on many, many occasions. They are great lap dogs, good with other dogs and kids. The only negative (if you want to call it a negative) would be that many pugs make a lot of noise when they breathe. If you don't like snoring, I wouldn't get a pug. LOL
