The Barking Biscuit Company |

I started The Barking Biscuit Company in Kemptville back in 1998 after I left the world of banking behind. The Barking Biscuit was the first dog biscuit company in Eastern Ontario, and has been featured on CJOH Regional Contact as well as dozens of newspapers and national magazines. My company won the NEBS/CCNA award for "Most Innovative Local Business in Ontario" in 2002.
I started baking the biscuits in my home oven, but after one year it just got too busy and I now have a bakery set up. My biscuits are still all made by hand with human grade, natural ingredients.
I have several flavours of biscuits, in two sizes (larger biscuits for big dogs, Itty Bitty biscuits for small dogs, training, and dog walking).
I also have a very special biscuit called "Crunch for a Cure" that raises money for breast cancer research.
You can order biscuits on line, or shop in person. I supply over 60 retail stores (mostly in Ontario). You can check out all the stores on my web site.
Lots of people eat my biscuits too (no kidding!) You can read the testamonials on my site. Yum!

My Name is Tammy and I work for a company in Perth called Foodsmiths. The Barking Biscuit is the most desired canine cookie for my canine clients. They are also a large supporter of the charity dog wash that we have every year for our local shelter. This is a great idea! 2 PAWS UP!!!!

The Barking Biscuit Company and Sara |

My brats, Molly and Murphy, are big fans of The Barking Biscuit culinary delights. They like the fact that the biscuits are made with natural ingredients, are handmade, and really taste great. M&M sometimes send gift baskets to their dog friends because they want to send quality treats and they really like the fact that The Barking Biscuit Company is part of the Paws for Charity, a campaign to raise funds to fight breast cancer. Sara is usually pretty quiet about her community involvement, but I can tell you she is most generous in her support of a number of not for profit/charitable organizations and we always like to support those give back.
