 VENDORS wanted---Pooches Picnic |

Ever heard of Woofstock in Toronto??? Well how about we make the Pooches picnic into our own woofstock right here in Ottawa! What a great opportunity to create a one day event for people who love everything about dogs to come out and support an awesome group.
I have talked to Sharon McKeil, President of BARK and she is open to having Vendors set up and sell their products and support BARK. What a great way to bring all of Ottawa's talented dogtrepreneurs together!

When: Sunday August 26, 2007 (tentavive)
Where: Arboretum - near the Fletcher Wildlife Garden
What: Picnic for your family and the dogs
Cost: $20 gate fee per family - this entitles you to one free hamburger, one free hotdog and a drink.
Additional tickets can be purchased on site - hamburgers $2.00, hotdogs $1.00, drinks 50 cents.
What Up?
Games - $5 entry fee - musical dogs, hotdog race, bobbing for hotdogs - much more info to come
Contests - $5 entry fee - Dog Singing Contest, Curliest Tail, Best tail Wagger, Best Legs, Best Smile, Best Trick, Dog Owner Look Alike, - much more info to come
Judges will be local media people
Fantastic prizes - 5 x $100 gas cards - much more info later
On site activities
Pam Casselman will be doing nail clipping for $5 - all proceeds to B.A.R.K.
"The Great Barkini" - Elizabeth Wright (animal communicator) will read your dog for $20 (regular price $60) - all proceeds to B.A.R.K.
B.A.R.K. Booth - we will once again be selling our quilts, toys, first aid kits for pets and more
B.A.R.K. Buck or Two - buy amazing gently used articles for your dog for as little as $1

So it would be $20 for some lawn space and then would we donate part of the proceeds from our booth to BARK? I've spoken to my people about this and we are all in agreement that a Bark & Fitz booth with a 'dog picnic theme' would be great! Treats & fetch toys only and loads of free stuff. Hopefully we could feature our latest photobysuebird poster if it's ready on time 
Count us in as a participating vendor for this fab event. Monty, our Public Relations Officer will be contacting you shortly for more details.

Speaking of Monty, I need to have a meeting with him.......the book is on Ottawa some where and is going to be at my house soon!!!!!!! YAHOOO, the book is done, cannot wait to see it! I will give Sharon a call and find out what they would like to do for vendors. Most likely will be more than $20
